If you vote for a third party, you're voting for the opposition
This is bunk, completely.
Example. Many elections in the past, people have said, if you voted for a third party person, or independent, you are actually voting for the major candidate that they are against.
Both sides use this.
In my opinion, voting libertarian or independent is a way to prove we want something new and not the same old over and over every single time.
A third party I think could be something that changes America for the better. I am not endorsing either libertarian or any other party that may emerge in the future (think Elon Musk's American Party). It's me endorsing people the ability to make their voices heard, and if we get enough voting for other parties, we can see the parties that can actually succeed, and work together to get this to happen.
Full disclosure, I do side with the Republican party at this time, but attempt to give as unbiased opinions as I can on as many matters as I feel okay speaking about.
